As a child, I remember my father giving a family home evening lesson. He wanted to stress kindness with each other especially with my brothers and me. Wanting to make his point, he turned to me and asked, “Why do we get along with our friends but fight with our brothers?” I thought as hard as I could and said, “Well, we have to live with our brothers, but we want to keep our friends.”
The two pictures are of us “rowdy boys”. Both pictures have us in the same positions.
This wasn’t planned! Do things really change?
I wonder if Solomon had the same idea.
A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.
